While some of the jokes told about voter fraud might be funny, the reality isn’t.
It represents an assault on our republic. It threatens something that lies at the bedrock of our nation: the reality of free and fair elections.
Destroy that and the legitimacy of any government so impacted dies. Got that, Hillary?
In response to what is undoubtedly widespread voter fraud, President Donald Trump has sworn to clean things up. Our system has some serious flaws and if you’re looking for more proof of that fact…
This is demonstrated very well in Wisconsin, a state where a voter identification law prevented 300,000 votes being cast likely in favor of Hillary Clinton, something that would have changed the result in that state.
What might not be well known, as reported by The Gateway Pundit, is that “The United States is one of the very few democracies that does not require voters to present a picture ID to vote.”
It almost sounds like we’re ASKING for voter fraud, doesn’t it?
The Associated Press initially reported the story with its typical liberal bias.
“By one estimate, 300,000 eligible voters in the state lacked valid photo IDs heading into the election; it is unknown how many people did not vote because they didn’t have proper identification.”
This is typical of the liberal approach.
There is nothing stopping the citizens of Wisconsin from obtaining a picture identification. If they can get to the polls, then they could have gotten a photo ID.
STORY CONTINUES BELOW…
Yet some injustice has supposedly been committed by denying them the right to vote. Or so we are asked to believe.
If voting is important to citizens, and it should be, then the small effort required to ensure you have a photo ID presents no impediment to voting, especially since each person has many months before the election to get that done.
Instead, this fuss is all about promoting voter fraud, likely by illegal aliens who are predisposed to vote Democratic.
It has nothing – repeat: NOTHING – to do with preventing legitimate voters from exercising their rights.
One citizen, one vote. Demanding proper identification is one way of making that happen. And once again, we find President Donald Trump was RIGHT about what was going on behind the scenes.
