While Clinton’s out on her little book tour, we should search Google for some of the intentionally unreported facts concerning her indifference and negligence in the case of Benghazi.
The tragedy has all but been forgotten, despite the fact she infamously shouted, “What difference does it make!” when talking about the deaths and government failure during the terror attack on our Libyan embassy.
That scene alone should have sunk her presidential hopes, but like the un-killable cockroach she is, she managed to escape unscathed.
Of course, the media played a starring role in sweeping the case under the rug and shamelessly spinning the story.
But five years on, whether the liberal media reports on it or not, more evidence has emerged supporting the claim that the government systematically covered up what really happened on that night in Benghazi.
As reported at the Political Insider, contractors who were tasked with shoring up the subpar security at the site are now claiming they were forced to keep quiet and support the Obama Administration’s narrative on what happened that night and the in the aftermath.
According to a Fox News report, Brad Owens and Jerry Torres, contractors with an American security company, were brought in to clean up the situation in Benghazi just two weeks prior to the attack.
The pair spoke out on “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” claiming they were later pressured to stay silent on the matter and get on the same page with Hillary Clinton’s State Department.
When asked if thought their was a systematic effort by the State Department to silence them and others involved with the cleanup, Torres said, “Absolutely, absolutely.”
He then targeted Obama and Clinton for trying to deceive the American people and keep everyone in the dark about what actually happened.
One of the dishonest ways they did this was by blaming the attack on a random YouTube video that criticized Islam.
“Coming from a military background, I would expect the administration to tell the truth,” Torres said.
“So I bought into it for a minute. But I didn’t believe it in the back of my mind.”
They were then told to keep their mouths shut and stick to the Obama administration’s narrative.
State Department contracting officer Jan Visintainer had Torres flown back to the United States for a meeting in which he instructed the contractor that he and his colleagues, quote:
“Should not speak to the media, should not speak to any officials with respect to the Benghazi program.”
The reason Torres has come forward is to protect the thousands of employees that work with the contractor company.
They’ve been intimidated to keep quiet and there’s the fear the company’s reputation will be destroyed if they oppose the State Department’s story.
Owens highlighted the fact that many of the clowns that made the terrible decisions and subsequently covered them up are still in high level positions, since no one has been held accountable for what happened.
Those “who made the poor choices that actually, I would say, were more responsible for the Benghazi attacks than anyone else, they’re still in the same positions, making security choices for our embassies overseas now,” Owens claims.
“A U.S. ambassador is dead and nobody is held accountable for it. And three guys … all died trying to defend him,” Torres added.
Owens expressed hope that the Trump Administration would change that.
“I feel now that, given that the politics has been taken out of the Benghazi situation, now that there’s no longer a candidate or anything related to it, a change of administrations, that actually, we have an opportunity here to fix the problems that made it happen,” he said.
While there are still far too many Clinton and Obama cronies infecting agencies like the State Department, Trump has an opportunity to clean house and get to the bottom of the various scandals.
Whether or not he’ll do it is the real question, but one thing is for sure:
The American people still want to know what happened on that night and why nothing was ever done about it.
