Do you think Hillary Clinton gets tired of spending so much time under investigation for one criminal act or another?
Or maybe in some sick way, she really enjoys all the attention, having convinced herself that she can prevail regardless of the allegations? So far, she has done a fine job of beating the rap.
But we wonder if her success at avoiding indictment has only emboldened her to the point where sooner or later, she’ll step so far over the line that she’ll finally wind up as a defendant in criminal court.
One can hope for justice, yes?
Judicial Watch will soon appear in court in its effort to gain accesses to about 100,000 of Hillary’s emails that were sent during her tenure as secretary of state but which she “failed to disclose.”
Some involved her assistant Huma Abedin, and some were on the computer of Huma’s estranged husband Anthony Weiner.
Judicial Watch has sued under the Freedom of Information Act to gain access to all of these emails as well as some new ones that were just discovered.
Via Fox News:
“A Federal Court hearing will take place Thursday over a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit seeking former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s emails during her tenure at the State Department, Judicial Watch announced Wednesday.
The case, Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of State, was originally filed in May 2015, and will be heard before Judge James Boasberg in Washington D.C. U.S. District Court.
The hearing will focus on the State Department’s progress on processing 100,000 emails Clinton ‘failed to disclose’ when she served as Secretary of State.
Some of the emails, according to Judicial Watch, were sent by Clinton aide Huma Abedin that were found on the laptop of her estranged husband, Anthony Weiner.
Last week, the FBI apparently gave the State Department a new disc of records relating to the Clinton email lawsuit.
Judicial Watch is seeking those records, along with any documents and materials that have surfaced from Weiner’s laptop.”
So far, Judicial Watch has done quite well, already getting a court order that 33,000 emails that Hillary had tried to delete from a computer be turned over to the watchdog law firm at the rate of 500 per month.
However, given the sheer quantity, that would take years to accomplish.
STORY CONTINUES BELOW…
“[Judicial Watch President Tom] Fitton added:
‘The bureaucracy is going to do what they want to protect Hillary Clinton and the Obama administration –and at the rate the State Department is processing these documents, we won’t have all of the documents we’ve requested until at least 2020.'”
The State Department is still infested with Clinton and Obama loyalists who are no doubt dragging their feet on releasing the emails.
It would also be reasonable to assume that they will select the most innocuous ones to release first, leaving the damaging ones to languish in the process for years.
We hope Judicial Watch will be able to dramatically accelerate that process because honestly, we shouldn’t have to wait so long for justice to be done.
The Crooked Clintons have evaded that justice for far, far too long, and Americans are demanding results!
