Oh, the power of a written word.
That’s what a college professor whose husband harassed Ivanka Trump during a recent airplane flight is quickly learning. And he deserves nothing less than swift and harsh punishment. Thankfully, over 20,000 people agree.
Matthew Lasner, an associate professor of urban studies at Hunter College, happened to be flying the same plane as Trump. Lasner’s husband, Dan Goldstein, was on the flight as well.
And Goldstein apparently wasn’t a Trump fan, as many already know. His harassment of Ms. Trump cannot be defended and is the standard disgusting behavior we’ve come to expect from liberals:
“Lasner and his husband Dan Goldstein were thrown off of a JetBlue flight from New York to San Francisco last Thursday when Goldstein approached the future first daughter and started shouting at her. While holding a child in his arms Goldstein, 35, asked out loud: ‘Why is she on our flight. She should be flying private,'” the Daily Mail reported.
Trump, who was traveling with her children, tried to ignore him and occupy the kids during the tirade. She was class personified the entire time and probably knew that Lasner was digging his own grave.
And after Goldstein was gone, Trump supporters – seething – jumped into action and launched a strongly worded petition aimed at teaching the gay couple a lesson.
Again, from The Daily Mail:
“Over 20,000 people have signed a Change.org petition asking Hunter College to remove Matthew Lasner from his position in the administration for his ‘immature and cruel harassment of Ivanka Trump and her family at JFK airport.’ The petition was created by the group Right Wing Millennials.”
Petitioners were most upset at the fact Lasner would “harass a mother and her child simply trying to go about their day,” and said such a person “does not deserve the honor of teaching,” the news outlet reported.
