KISS fans already know co-lead singer Gene Simmons wasn’t the shy and quiet type of guy.
Now the rest of the Fox Business News-watching world does, too.
Simmons, known in rock circles by the stage name “The Demon,” didn’t seem all that upset in a recent Fox interview that Hillary Clinton had lost the election to Donald Trump – though that’s pretty much an understatement.
“While letting it rip on Fox,” the news blog Mad World News reported,” The camera kept recording as he dropped a brutal truth bomb on his fellow celebrities that put these ridiculous idiots firmly in their place.”
Do tell. What’d he say?
First, a little bit of background about Simmons. He was born Chaim Witz, but changed his name to Eugene Klein, and then used the stage name Gene Simmons for his rock career. He was also born in Israel and came to America at the young age of eight.
So he’s not exactly a friend of the far-left Hollywood crowd that loves to hate Israel.
And he’s not afraid to let his opinions be known. Case in point:
“I think celebrities should basically shut their pie holes and do what they do best – act, sing, tap dance. … President-elect Trump is the president. You can like it. You cannot like it. He’s the new president, that’s the end of the story.”
Well said, Simmons – and long, long overdue.
