A fiercely independent, aggressive, and proficient press is vital to freedom.
So what is the press doing in America today?
Oh, they’re busy pushing an obvious agenda that is intensely insulting for one reason: They honestly think Americans don’t notice.
Instead of a press dedicated to the principles of the country’s founders, we have alleged journalists who are dedicated instead to the promotion of ideas, practices, organizations, and principles that utterly contradict that for which this nation is supposed to stand.
It has become so blatant and over-the-top, one wonders when the powers that be will finally take action. This isn’t journalism; this is one-way-traffic lecturing.
Worst of all, they turn a blind eye to corruption if it is committed by politicians with leftist beliefs, and make excuses for organizations that are not only hostile to America, but which actually hate this country.
It is disgusting to see the depths to which the press will go, and we just got yet another example of their efforts to denigrate this country.
The Federalist Papers Project brings us the story of outrageous behavior on Facebook by CNBC:
“A CNBC Facebook post (that has since been edited) asked viewers: ‘Do you agree with ISIS?’ and linked to a story titled ‘Islamic State says US ‘being run by an idiot.’“
No, we don’t agree with that. But we do agree that CNBC is run and staffed by a bunch of extreme leftists masquerading as journalists whose behavior resembles that of traitors.
CNBC continues to give ISIS a voice:
“‘You [the U.S.] are bankrupt and the signs of your demise are evident to every eye,’ ISIS spokesman Abi al-Hassan al-Muhajer said in a recent recording. ‘There is no more evidence than [that] you being run by an idiot who does not know what Syria or Iraq or Islam is.'”
Where do you even start with something as despicable as this?
For one thing, if ISIS is truly the proper interpretation of Islam as this “spokesman’s” remarks seem to imply, then there are a lot of Muslim leaders who would have a lot of explaining to do.
Yet we expect that sort of vitriol by a bunch of murdering lunatics such as ISIS.
What we do not expect is for a purportedly American news organization to use hateful speech from a violent terrorist group as fodder for launching a verbal attack on the president.
For today, at least, CNBC is winning the race to the bottom when it comes to journalistic integrity and just plain American patriotism.
