Obama Blew $7 Billion On One Utterly Worthless Program – His Biggest Failure Revealed!

When vice president Mike Pence cast that historic tie-breaking vote to confirm Betsy DeVos as the country’s new education secretary, we stood and applauded.

Because we knew she’d do something like this.

Former president Barack Obama will be remembered for one thing: Wasting countless taxpayer dollars. He turned it into a freakin’ art form.

He sent it overseas to fund God knows what, he funneled toward left-wing and radical liberal organizations of his choosing, he drove the country further into debt.

Even when the Obama administration had good intentions, the end result was always the same. Taxpayers would have moths flying out of their wallets and none of our problems got any better.

Education secretary Betsy DeVos hammered this point home during a recent speech given last week at the Brookings Institution.

In short, she said the Obama-era idea of throwing gobs of money at schools has completely failed. She says the concept of “broken schools” improving thanks to federal funding is a fallacy.

Via Western Journalism:

If only schools received more funding, they say, the schools could provide a better learning environment for those being left behind. But of course, we’ve already tried that, and it’s proven not to work.

Then she revealed that despite the $7 billion doled out through the School Improvement Grants program, our children weren’t performing any better. In fact, that $7 billion “had no significant impacts on math or reading test scores, high school graduation, or college enrollment.

Hear that, liberals?

IT DIDN’T WORK. And all one has to do is look at the products of these school systems – i.e., the whiny, entitled, do-nothing layabouts that think the world owes them everything – and it’s plain as day.

Added DeVos:

At what point do we accept the fact that throwing money at the problem isn’t the solution? Good intentions and billions of dollars clearly aren’t enough to give students what they need to succeed.

Waiting and hoping for a miracle, while blocking efforts that can help millions of children immediately, is simply not something this administration will abide.

DeVos says this country needs to address students as individuals and empower parents and schools, and it’s about “shifting the paradigm to think of education as investments made in individual children, not in institutions or buildings.”

This is exactly what we need because quite frankly, the quality of education in this country has long since become a cataclysmic JOKE.

Obama’s answer to everything was “more taxes,” which is the calling card of all die-hard Democrats like Hillary, but clearly, DeVos has a better solution in mind.
