Nobody thinks more highly of Barack Obama than Barack Obama.
And even though no one asked him to do it, Obama has provided the public with a huge 5,200-word evaluation of his job performance concerning the ongoing war on terrorism.
No surprise: He says he not only passed with flying colors, he aced the exam. As the former president desperately tries to solidify his legacy, he decides he needs a bit of an ego boost…as if that ego wasn’t already the size of Australia.
“I believe that we must never hesitate to act when necessary, including unilaterally when necessary…I have also insisted that it is unwise and unsustainable to ask our military to build nations on the other side of the world, or resolve their internal conflicts…Even as we focus relentlessly on dismantling terrorist networks like al Qaeda and ISIL, we should ask allies to do their share in the fight, and we should strengthen local partners who can provide lasting security.”
Then, Obama took it upon himself to educate the incoming President, which is more than a little predictable. If you’ve long since grown tired of the leftist radical “tolerance” speeches, you might want to look away:
“The United States of America is not a country that imposes religious tests as a price for freedom. We’re a country that was founded so that people could practice their faiths as they choose. The United States of America is not a place where some citizens have to withstand greater scrutiny, or carry a special ID card, or prove that they’re not an enemy from within.”
Obama failed to mention a few important points, such as enabling Iran with funds, and the fact that 74 percent of U.S. casualties in the past 16 years came during the Obama reign.
This guy really needs to stop patting himself on the back. Maybe he hasn’t noticed but his so-called “legacy” is being ripped to shreds and with every passing day, we learn a bit more about how our former president failed on all fronts.
