The Art of the Lie.
That should be the best-selling title of a book ghostwritten for Barack Obama. This guy was more skilled than Slick Willy (for our younger readers, that refers to Bill Clinton) but he had less nuance.
For instance, that massive IRS scandal proved Obama used taxpayer money to attack anyone who didn’t agree with him.
Typically, Clinton’s lies revolved around women (who weren’t Hillary). With Obama, the lies revolved around anything that made him or his Legacy look more impressive than it actually was.
We all remember when he said, “If you like your doctor, you can keep him.”
Also, we can recall his promise that healthcare costs would go down by $1,500 per family per year. (chuckling) Okay, Barry. On top of which, Obamacare ended up costing taxpayers untold MILLIONS.
There were still others, too many to document here, but another that stuck out was the whole Benghazi spontaneous protest lie.
And just for the record, we all KNEW he was lying. It was just a marvel to watch the magnificent Kabuki theater that played out every evening on the nightly mainstream media as it defended, propped up, circled the wagons, and made excuses for this man that they adored more than any other man alive.
Well, here we go again.
“The director of the Office of Management and Budget on Sunday indicated that the Obama administration manipulated the monthly unemployment report in order to make the economy look healthier than it actually was.
‘What you should really look at is the number of jobs created,’ Mick Mulvaney said on CNN after a Friday report showed the economy generated 235,000 jobs in February.
‘We’ve thought for a long time, I did, that the Obama administration was manipulating the numbers, in terms of the number of people in the workforce, to make the unemployment rate — that percentage rate — look smaller than it actually was,’ he said.
Mulvaney said that a measure known a ‘U6’ issued by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which includes unemployed Americans who have not sought work in up to a year, is a truer measure of unemployment.
‘U6’ tends to run about five to seven points higher than the more widely quoted unemployment rate, which was 4.7 percent in February.”
To reiterate: we all knew that this was happening, but trying to get the State-controlled media to report the truth is like trying to get Lois Lerner to testify about Conservative targeting by the IRS. In other words, “Never gonna happen!”
President Donald Trump, on the other hand, has no need to cover up numbers. The exploding employment and economy numbers in Trump’s first few months are plain as day, aren’t they?
Of course, Trump’s brand of economic revival will still be viewed by the MSM as below average, but we at least know the truth behind the fake news.
