President Obama has just given new meaning to the word hubris.
Honestly, this is about the most enlightening story you’re ever going to read in regards to understanding the inner workings and mindset of Obama.
Just this week, he did something so outrageous, it’ll leave you shaking your head for weeks. No, it has nothing to do with any of last-second “midnight regulations” or anything like that, nor does it involve the ongoing scandals concerning his ridiculous spending. It doesn’t even have to do with his battle with President-elect Donald Trump, despite his claim that he wanted a “smooth transition.”
No, this speaks more to the current President’s ego, which is, of course, the size of Australia and still growing every day.
Check this out:
“Obama added another prestigious medial to his Nobel Prize collection when he had Defense Secretary Ash Carter award him with the Department of Defense Medal for Distinguished Public Service,” Breitbart reported.
Carter gave his boss the medal during an Armed Forces Full Honor Farewell Review at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall in Virginia. And Carter played it off like it simply a well-earned token of appreciation for Obama’s service as commander-in-chief.
But Twitter users found the ceremony rather odd.
“So Carter whom was picked for Secretary of Defense by Obama gives him an award! I wonder who’s idea that was EGO & CHIEF?” wrote one, as Breitbart noted.
Indeed. Since Obama’s boss, and Carter’s employee, whose idea was it to name the recipient of the award to the president? Do you honestly think if Carter wanted to give the award to, say, Kellyanne Conway for her amazing work to bring Donald Trump to win the White House, a first for a woman, that Obama wouldn’t have stepped in to say, no, hold the phone on that?
Of course he would. Similarly, Obama could have stopped the award from being pinned on his own chest. Surely, there’s someone in America more deserving than Obama.
