Barack Obama has a chip on his shoulder the size of Chicago. And an ego the size of Australia.
It helps that he received 2.8 million illegal votes in 2008; heck, that’d be a big boost to anyone’s ego, even if someone already has a gargantuan sense of self-worth.
And even the worst scandals, where billions of dollars disappear and end up in the hands of our enemies, can’t erase that ego.
To prove it, Obama is ready to join in the crowds of the anti-American protesters who are nothing more than bought-and-paid-for Leftist hacks and professional slaves of a White plantation owner named George Soros!
The former president vowed to stay quiet in the traditions of the presidents before him and said that he would only speak out if the American core values were in danger.
And, in a way, he kept his promise.
“Barack Obama spoke out Monday afternoon against his successor — and in support of the protests opposing President Donald Trump — with a spokesman saying the former president thinks they’re ‘citizens exercising their Constitutional right to assemble, organize and have their voices heard by their elected officials is exactly what we expect to see when American values are at stake.'”
So, in keeping with the grand tradition of Obama not being actually attached to any of his own edicts, beliefs, statements, or actions, and ensuring that he had essentially washed his hands of any of his own operations while in charge of the Oval Office, he has released a statement denigrating the current occupant of the White House through a proxy.
This spokesman keeps him virginal in his outlook for the future, allowing him to appear as if he himself is not actually issuing the statement or attached to the words whatsoever.
This is the beauty of what Rush Limbaugh refers to as the “Limbaugh Theorem.”
It’s the theory that “[Obama] gets away with everything precisely by appearing to have no involvement with it … He gets away with not being tied to [the IRS scandal] like he’s not tied to the jobs numbers, he’s not tied to the debt, he’s not tied to the economy. He’s not tied to anything going wrong. Obama has mastered the ability to always be seen as “opposing everything that’s happening, even the things he is causing to happen.”
He was able to employ this ability in his tenth day out of office. Promising that he would not comment on Trump’s presidency was a promise kept…if you employ the “Theorem”.
Technically, he did not say the things he said. Some spokesman did. Therefore, he remains as pure as the driven snow…despite the fact he secretly helped fund terrorist activities overseas, I mean.
“Kevin Lewis, Obama’s post-presidency spokesman, said he ‘is heartened by the level of engagement taking place in communities around the country.’
‘With regard to comparisons to President Obama’s foreign policy decisions, as we’ve heard before, the president fundamentally disagrees with the notion of discriminating against individuals because of their faith or religion,’ Lewis added, highlighting November 2015 comments from Obama about a Muslim ban.
Among those comments: ‘I think it is very important for us right now — particularly those who are in leadership, particularly those who have a platform and can be heard — not to fall into that trap, not to feed that dark impulse inside of us.'”
Discriminating against individuals because of their faith or religion?
You mean like when Obama said in 2008, “They get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”
Oh, THAT dark impulse…
