Judicial Watch has continued its relentless effort to bring accountability to the government.
Over the past eight years, and especially with the addition of Hillary Clinton to the Obama administration, there has been enough corruption to provide full-time work for scores of lawyers and investigators for years to come.
It’s a testimony to the strength of our Republic that we have survived the misgovernment these people have inflicted on us.
We’re all too familiar with the Obama White House’s alleged spying on members of Donald Trump’s campaign team and other opponents of the Democratic Party.
It has become quite the circus.
But now, justice might not be far off: Judicial Watch has officially sued to get the documents that would reveal the extent of the surveillance activity.
“Judicial Watch today announced it filed a Freedom of Information (FOIA) lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Justice and the National Security Agency (NSA) for information about Obama National Security Advisor Susan Rice’s communications with the two agencies concerning the alleged Russian involvement in the 2016 presidential election, the hacking of DNC computers, the suspected communications between Russia and Trump campaign/transition officials, and the unmasking of the identities of any U.S. citizens associated with the Trump presidential campaign or transition team who were identified pursuant to intelligence collection activities.”
That’s a terribly long statement, but it’s packed with information.
For one thing, it’s clear that this lawsuit is incredibly comprehensive.
In other words, Judicial Watch is not just nibbling around the edges of the issues, but is attacking the entire scandal with the goal of ferreting out all the players as well as whatever crimes they might have committed.
STORY CONTINUES BELOW…
“We want to know about the Obama White House involvement in the unprecedented spying on Donald Trump and other political opponents,’ said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.
‘This intelligence operation may have led to the illegal ‘unmasking’ of Americans and the leaking of intelligence information to foment the story of Russian hacking of the DNC and sinister Russian influence on Trump and his associates.
The Trump administration has an opportunity to expose what the Obama White House was up to.’“
Given the severity of some of those alleged crimes, it’s no surprise that the government is trying to sit on this information.
If suspicions turn out to be true, criminal indictments will surely follow. Not only that, the integrity and public trust of our intelligence agencies, already having taken a hit, will be further damaged.
This is the case that just might break things WIDE open, America.
The only question now is, will Obama ever be punished for spying on us…?
