When you negotiate from a position of weakness, you typically lose.
When you combine that with the incompetent and corrupt Obama regime, you get the disastrous, treasonous deal with Iran.
Barack was determined to score the political points he would obtain by securing that deal. Hence, he was willing to agree to anything as long as he could claim success.
So, when our president approached an international negotiation from that position, it’s no surprise he ultimately did irreparable harm to our national security.
The prisoner swaps were billed by Mr. Obama as humanitarian gestures and normal parts of the Iran deal, but as we all know now: That wasn’t true at ALL.
Now, according to Fox News:
“…Politico reported that some of those released had been “accused by Obama’s own Justice Department of posing threats to national security.“
So, far from being of little consequence, Mr. Obama released criminals dedicated to conducting attacks in the U.S.
In his determination to get a deal at any price, Mr. Obama inflicted further damage on the security of the nation he was pledged to protect.
“[T]he administration reportedly dropped charges against more than a dozen fugitives suspected of aiding Iran’s nuclear and military weapons programs.”
And it gets worse: “Politico also suggested that ‘Justice and State Department officials denied or delayed requests from prosecutors and agents to lure some key Iranian fugitives to friendly countries so that they could be arrested.'”
STORY CONTINUES BELOW…
Congressional leaders have requested that the Justice Department reopen investigations into these matters.
In other words, they really, REALLY want President Donald Trump to look into this mess.
“In a letter to Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Attorney General Jeff Sessions, House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Ed Royce, R-Calif., and Rep. Brian Mast, R-Fla., said the new details prove ‘the Obama Administration appears to have done serious damage to our national security.‘”
The Obama Administration did serious damage in most every matter it touched; that regime was typified by poor and corrupt leadership.
He was guilty of so many lies, of so much blatant fraud, Americans should reflect on his tenure with only one emotion: embarrassment.
