When Police Asked Obama To Honor Fallen Cops, He Refused. When They Asked Trump…

Every day offers an opportunity to observe and appreciate the dramatic contrast between the Obama and Trump administrations.

We also get another chance to savor the fact that Obama is no longer president.

Our former commander-in-chief championed few causes that built up our nation, and many causes that have only proven harmful.

Obama’s despicably lax immigration policies is just one example. His attitude and policies regarding law enforcement would be another.

Mr. Obama wanted people to believe he was a supporter of law enforcement, but his actions proved otherwise.

His rabid support of groups like Black Lives Matter as well as his only offering lip service to those protecting our communities proved his duplicity.

President Trump, on the other hand, is ever the supporter of BLUE Lives Matter, and he always loves and respects our men and women in uniform. Here’s more proof.

President Trump lit the White House in blue on Monday night in honor of our law enforcement personnel. …interestingly enough, when Obama was called on to do the same, he refused.

“‘The White House will be illuminated with blue lights tonight to honor law enforcement, President Trump announced Monday. Monday is Peace Officer Memorial Day, the first major event in Police Week, which is commemorated May 14-20.'”

President Trump’s proclamation reads in part:

“‘Our liberties depend on the rule of law, and that means supporting the incredible men and women of law enforcement,’ President Trump said in a proclamation signed Monday.

‘During Peace Officers Memorial Day and Police Week, we honor the men and women of law enforcement who have been killed or disabled in the course of serving our communities.'”

On the flip side, Obama did nothing of the kind. In fact, he flat-out refused.

The Daily Wire reports:

“The day after the murder of five police officers in Dallas, a police advocacy group requested that President Obama ‘demonstrate his full respect for their ultimate sacrifice by illuminating the White House in blue.'”

Didn’t happen.

“While the president did order flags to be flown half-mast to honor the fallen officers, unlike it did to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month or celebrate same-sex marriage, the White House stayed white.”

While Obama may protest that he is a faithful American, his policies were a revolt against this country, its traditions, and even its laws.

He often behaved as though he were a hostile foreign interest, and should rightly be reviled for that.
