We now have a president who wants to protect this country.
And though President Donald Trump earned a hugely significant victory thanks to a Boston federal judge, the illegal immigration debate still rages.
Liberals just can’t seem to grasp the harsh reality of the world; specifically, there are lots of people out there who want to hurt us. And they take advantage of loopholes provided by the destructive nature of political correctness.
That isn’t stopping Trump, though.
He will continue to fight to protect this country, and that should include a number of huge changes, like stripping sanctuary cities of their funding. You know, so illegals will stop taking billions of dollars away from legal citizens.
The point is, he’s not afraid of delivering a forceful message, and that message was once again abundantly clear today.
During a speech at the U.S. Central Command headquarters, the president vowed to only allow into the U.S. “people who want to love our country.” He then defended his immigration and refugee restrictions, via Fox News:
“‘We need strong programs’ so that ‘people that love us and want to love our country and will end up loving our country are allowed in’ and those who ‘want to destroy us and destroy our country’ are kept out, Trump said.”
‘Freedom, security and justice will prevail,’ Trump added. ‘We will defeat radical Islamic terrorism and we will not allow it to take root in our country. We’re not going to allow it.’”
Trump added that “we strongly support NATO;” this not long after speaking to NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on Sunday. A White House statement said the two talk about encouraging “all NATO allies to meet their defense spending commitments.”
As for the thorny immigration problem, Trump just isn’t going to back down. You can forget about that, liberals.
He is going to make his prodigious voice heard, and if that includes issuing bombshell ultimatums to places like Mexico, then so be it. This is what needs to be done to stop the hate from spilling over our borders, to make the American people feel safe again.
Remember that word? Safe? Wouldn’t you like to feel safe in your own country? Shouldn’t everyone feel safe inside their own borders?
We sure as hell think so.
