THIS will make you stand up and cheer!
It’s rare that a politician proposes something that evokes great joy and Hail Mary-like outbursts but amazingly, it has happened.
It’s akin to when Americans heard about Trump possibly cutting funding to the UN, a result of the disgusting Obama/Israel/UN ordeal that continues on a slow burn.
And it’s like when Conservative citizens (and business owners everywhere) celebrated the recent executive order that said for every new governmental regulation, two would have to be removed.
How awesome is that?
Now, another politician has given Americans reason to applaud.
“A Colorado state representative announced a bill Monday that would allow victims of certain crimes committed by illegal immigrants to sue state and local politicians who defy federal immigration authorities seeking to enforce the law, multiple news outlets are reported,” The Daily Caller noted.
Hurrah. Finally. AT LONG LAST!
A politician who actually wants to take some common sense reigns in the ridiculousness of eight long years of Democrat-inspired amnesty that’s left borders open and citizens at risk from criminal illegal aliens.
And get this: the politician is a Republican, yes. But he’s also Hispanic.
How about that, liberals?
“Republican state Rep. Dave Williams, who is Hispanic, said he wants to strip the ‘immunity’ from Democratic politicians who ‘place Coloradans in danger because of the sanctuary city policies that they created and continue to implement,'” the Denver Post reported, as cited by The Daily Caller.
This is truly a necessary and timely bill. And the fact that it’s being introduced by a Hispanic is all the more delicious.
President Donald Trump has fielded nothing but criticism and condemnation from the left over his immigration and border crackdowns, which include stripping federal funding from those cities that refuse to give up their sanctuary status.
And Hispanics and immigrants, both legal and illegal, from Mexico have been particularly vicious in their characterizations of Trump as a bigot and racist.
Now here comes a state politico with a Hispanic ethnicity who stands firmly in the camp of pro-Trump and anti-sanctuary city.
None other than the simple reason that he’s concerned about the safety of U.S. citizens, the very people he was elected to represent. And Trump will continue to score sanctuary city victories, which will in turn increase the quality of living in this country.
It’s refreshing to actually see a politician, especially one of Hispanic heritage, taking a stand that’s rooted in law and order, as well as common sense, on a matter of immigration policy, rather than letting emotion, agenda and hot-headed partisanship sway the day.
