Police ambushes were made very popular by Black Lives Matter activists who, by the way, the liberal media adores.
Being the darlings of the MSM, thugs who plot the murder of police officers always believe that they’ll be able to get off without prosecution.
The mainstream media makes it cool and hip to attack police officers and that, in turn, creates more opportunity for police ambushes. That’s how this vicious cycle operates.
This is why we at RWR are huge supporters of Blue Lives Matter and those who put their lives on the line every day. Those who serve our communities should be lauded, not oppressed or attacked.
But it’s a dangerous job. And sometimes, you need a little help…
Recently, yet another cop was ambushed. A three-on-one knifing of the deputy would have most certainly led to death had it not been for a vital secret weapon.
That fateful night, [Sheriff’s Deputy Todd] Frazier was investigating a lone male sitting in his car near a rest stop, according to The Jackson Clarion-Ledger.
When he approached the vehicle, he was ambushed by two other men. It devolved to three against one very quickly…
‘I had three people on me and I’m not a very big man, and they basically whipped my butt,’ Frazier told the newspaper.
As they dragged him off toward the woods, Frazier was told in no uncertain terms that he was going to die.
Managing to free one hand, Frazier reached for a small electronic button on his belt. When he hit the button, Lucas, his K9 companion (a black Belgian Malinois).
The animal came through and managed to attack the attackers!
Lucas knew something was wrong even before he was released, and he was gearing up for the fight of his life in the car.
‘He knew. I could hear him coming. I couldn’t see anything because the blood was all in my eyes, but I could hear him coming, growling and making these sounds … he sounded like a wolf,’ Frazier told a group of students as he recounted the story for a group of a group of children in August 2015. ‘I thought, ‘Now he’s gonna get you.’
Lucas sent those thugs packing.
‘He would put his life on the line for me,’ Frazier said to the students. ‘He is a deputy. I would die for him too.”
Perhaps new guidelines could ensure that every lone cop on the beat should travel with a K-9 unit. That might preclude a lot of the violence being perpetrated on them these days.
