The sooner the better.
What President Barack Obama has done to this country is really unforgivable. Because of that, incoming President-elect Donald Trump is going to have to work fast to repair a lot of the damage, and this includes the disaster that was Obamacare, among other colossal foul-ups.
So, when Trump officially takes office on January 20, he’s going to have his work cut out for him. Many Americans really have just one question: When? As in, when and how soon will we start seeing the repairs we so desperately require?
To kick off the first Monday of the New Year on a positive note, here’s Trump’s White House press secretary Sean Spicer:
That’s right, he says here on ABC’s “The Week” that the new Commander-in-Chief will immediately “”repeal a lot of the regulations and actions that have been taken by this administration over the last eight years that have hampered both economic growth and job creation.”
And though Spicer wasn’t specific, he doesn’t really need to be. Any fixes Trump can deliver out of the gate will be most appreciated by an American public that has been struggling under the yoke of an anti-business regime.
We can glean a few possibilities from Trump’s previous speeches, too: For instance, he has often spoken out against Obama’s destructive immigration policies, and he has also talked a lot about energy regulation and foreign policy.
Looking forward to learning more! Added Spicer:
“It’s very forward-thinking. What we’ve had in the past is people who have looked in the rearview mirror. This time, we’re thinking forward. If you want to serve in a Trump administration, you’re going to serve this country, not yourself.”
