It seems everything liberals accuse conservatives of doing are actually be done by them. With Donald Trump’s win, “progressive” activists and protesters stormed the streets of many major cities, calling Trump close-minded, racist, sexist, and so on.
They claimed Trump supporters were bullies who would be empowered to persecute gays, minorities, and Muslims. Yet all the hate being shown right now is from the left, not the right. Liberal activists are persecuting conservatives, showing the kind of intolerance and hate they accuse us of.
But that has been the left’s playbook for years. They want to distract people from their own massive hypocrisy by blaming the other guy for the very thing they do. How can we believe they are tolerant and acceptable people when they fight, lie, cheat, and wage war with people who disagree with them?
This has never been more true than in Donald Trump’s home town of New York.
From New York Post:
Protesters in the city may chant, “Love trumps hate,” but that’s not stopping some from piling on Donald Trump’s family.
“You can’t be a Trump supporter in the city,” an old Buckley School classmate of Donald Jr. admitted to The Post.
“I wanted to throw a fundraiser for [the elder Trump last spring], and my fiancée was like, ‘Don’t you dare! You’ll never get one ounce of business again in this town,’ ” said the classmate, who has his own hedge fund.
New York liberals, mostly white elitists, love to virtue signal over their choices. They think they are superior to other people because they give thousands, even millions, to corrupt politicians like Hillary Clinton. They pat minorities on the head, convincing themselves they are doing good by supporting a broken party like the democrats.
But deep down inside these Manhattan liberals are hypocritical racists, sexists, and xenophobes.
Donald Jr.’s wife, Vanessa Haydon, who grew up in an Upper East Side townhouse and lives at Sutton Place with five children ages 2 to 9, isn’t handling her newfound pariah status well, a close family friend says.
“It’s not wonderful when you’re being trolled on Twitter, with people saying really bad things and you have five kids. It’s horrible,” the friend said.
If it weren’t for the tireless work of Donald Trump, his family, and his businesses, New York would still be the squalid mess it had turned into during the 1970’s. Crime would be uncontrollable. Good businesses and families would have moved out long ago. Few people would want to even visit it.
It’d basically be Detroit.
Yet the arrogant hypocrites who wanted to elect the most corrupt woman in American history now turn on the family that made New York great again.
Maybe all these liberal haters should move of Trump’s city and see what it’s like in the rest of the country. Perhaps a weekend in Detroit, Chicago, or Baltimore would make them a little more appreciative of Donald and his family.
At least we’d be rid of a few of them.
