President Donald Trump rose to White House office on a vow to take out ISIS and rid the world of radical Islamic terrorism.
The left has mocked him, calling such promises lofty – and truly, so have even some of those in his own political party.
But from day one of Secretary of Defense “Mad Dog” Mattis’s confirmation, the U.S. airstrikes against ISIS have ratcheted up; in fact, we dropped no fewer than 32 bombs on our enemies in the first 24 hours of the Trump administration.
We are no longer condoning absurd immigration leniency that allows terrorists to live in this country while planning to attack it (thanks, Obama).
Onwards to America’s protection!
“White House officials are drafting a presidential directive from President Trump that calls on his newly appointed defense secretary to take a more aggressive approach to attacking ISIS fighters in Syria,” Fox News reported.
Mattis is being asked by Trump to present a new report lining out new options of attack against ISIS within the next 30 days.
And sure to be included among those options? The use of Special Forces.
How refreshing to hear a president come forward and describe the enemy as it really is!
After eight long years of Barack Obama making concessions and excuses and lame left-leaning characterizations of ISIS as wayward individuals, rather than radicals who share a common denominator of following the Muslim faith, it’s about time to have a commander in chief call a spade a spade.
“We have evil that lurks around the corner without the uniforms,” Trump said, Fox News reported. “Ours is harder because the people we’re going against, they don’t wear uniforms. They’re sneaky, dirty rats and they blow people up in a shopping center and they blow people up in a church.”
So Special Forces? Bring them.
Trump’s plan of attack on ISIS hasn’t even been in the works for two full weeks, yet, and he’s already accomplished more than Obama did his entire two terms. And Ted Cruz is ready to fight the domestic anti-terrorism battle, as he has already proven.
The biggest plus with Trump is the message he sends to the American people:
Under Obama, the message sent to jihadists was one of open borders and American weakness. But under Trump, the borders are already being clamped. And the rhetoric? It goes something like this:
Beware ISIS. America’s back and coming for you in full force.
