President Donald Trump has a message for Mexico and it’s not so much politically correct as it is, well, politically incorrect.
No, it’s not about Trump demanding Mexico pay for 20 percent of the U.S.-Mexico border wall, though that certainly stirred the pot a bit.
In fact, this is an even bolder message.
It’s especially fantastic if you’re one of millions who have been suffering in frustrated silence under the squeamish former president, Barack Obama, as he went on his apology tour.
Yeah, well, Trump speaks his mind and at the bare minimum, this message falls in line with his “Make America Great Again” mantra. And we have to do something because they’re about to go to WAR down there.
Here’s the latest, between Trump and Mexico.
“President Donald Trump warned in a phone call with his Mexican counterpart that he was ready to send U.S. troops to stop ‘bad hombres down there’ unless the Mexican military does more to control them, according to an excerpt of a transcript of the conversation obtained by The Associated Press,” and reported by the Associated Press.”
Well, Trump may not have detailed who exactly the “bad hombres” were. But common sense American could probably take a stab at it.
How about the guy who killed Kate Steinle, the woman who was gunned down in broad daylight while walking on a pier with her father in California? The suspect wasn’t only an illegal immigrant, but also an illegal immigrant with a felony background who had already been deported several times.
He was only on the pier that day because of the city’s sanctuary policies. Yeah, that’s right.
And as Trump said during many times during his campaign season, it’s just such acts of violence committed by illegals – by people who aren’t even supposed to be in the country in the first place – that drive citizens absolutely furious.
So would that guy count as a “bad hombre?” I think so. THIS is why Trump is going after the so-called “sanctuary cities.” THIS is why he wants the wall built.
Actually, I think AP was having a little Alzheimer’s moment by actually making the point that Trump did not specify who these “bad hombres” were – an Alzheimer’s moment, or a flaming leftist twitch.
How else to explain the wisecrack “Trump did not detail the bad hombres,” when to the rest of America, it’s quite obvious?
“Bad hombres” are the criminal element, the people with intent to commit crimes and chaos – and with absolutely no intent to assimilate into American culture and become the fine, upstanding citizens all the lefties want it believed border crossers are.
Come on, AP. Try a little harder to see the sanity through the fog of confused and deceitful partisanship.
Kudos to Trump for speaking bluntly and plainly. Strike One for AP for playing dumb on the blunt and plain talk.
