Early this year, the final plans for President Donald Trump’s border wall were finalized, which of course kicked the liberal hornet’s nest.
But it’s a necessity.
Illegal immigration has been a major problem for years; some honest Americans might even call it a God-awful catastrophe. After all, there are TONS of illegal aliens still running around the country.
Now, Trump is one step closer to fixing the problem. And those who know this man respect one thing about him:
His ability to finish projects on time or ahead of schedule and come in under budget.
They’re impressed with this aspect of his business acumen because, quite frankly, it isn’t the norm in the business. Hence, he should excel when it comes to being president of the most powerful country in the world.
His administration has just announced that they will be settling on a contractor for the building of the Border Wall as early as April.
“It’s official. President Donald J. Trump’s ‘big, beautiful wall’ is underway, and the Trump White House has taken the first steps towards construction.
In just a few weeks, contracts will be awarded to build the wall along the southern border, which stretches more than 2,000 miles. Thanks to natural obstacles, a wall will be needed along approximately 1,000 of those miles.
The federal government contracts website has listed the opportunity, and companies interested in the work will need to submit prototypes and concept papers for their design. The deadline for proposals and costs is March 24. This is why Trump at CPAC said the wall is “way, way, way, ahead of schedule.”
The Homeland Security report proposes an initial phase that would extend fences 26 miles and a second wave that would add 151 miles, plus 272 “replacement” miles where fences are already installed, according to the official. Those two phases would cost $5 billion.
STORY CONTINUES BELOW…
The price tag will depend largely on the height, materials and other specifications that have not yet been defined.”
Smugglers, drug traffickers, and violent criminals have been pouring in from Mexico and frankly, we have to find some way to stop it. The current methods clearly aren’t working.
Of course, the issue of the wall’s cost to the American people will remain controversial but really, I’M willing to pay a little extra in taxes to help protect this country. How’s about you?
Perhaps when they’re done, the Netherlands, France, Austria, Italy and Sweden could hire them out as well. Seems like they’re having colossal problems of their own with terrorism and “18-28 year-old male refugees.”
Yet another reason why Americans said to the Democrats in November, “You’re fired!”
