Barack Obama would never, ever say the words “Radical Islam.”
That should tell you something. As should the recent shocking evidence that Obama absolutely, positively betrayed our country.
When the leader of a country refuses to acknowledge a threat and all this evidence piles up, one has to wonder if that “leader” wasn’t merely a Trojan Horse…
On the flip side, President Donald Trump has no problem saying the aforementioned words, nor does he have any problem targeting the obviously crippling immigration issues that have plagued our country for far too long.
Now, the Trump administration wants to narrow their terrorism attack even further…and it’s about damn time.
As Reuters just reported today:
“The Trump administration wants to revamp and rename a U.S. government program designed to counter all violent ideologies so that it focuses solely on Islamist extremism, five people briefed on the matter told Reuters.
The program, ‘Countering Violent Extremism,’ or CVE, would be changed to ‘Countering Islamic Extremism’ or ‘Countering Radical Islamic Extremism,’ the sources said, and would no longer target groups such as white supremacists who have also carried out bombings and shootings in the United States.”
That’s right. And this reflects Trump’s perfect willingness to use the phrase “radical Islam,” which is in stark contrast to his increasingly suspicious predecessor.
The CVE program aims to stop groups or potential lone assailants by implementing community partnerships and educational programs; it also uses “counter-messaging campaigns.”
Skeptics say rebranding this program thusly will “make it more difficult for the government to work with Muslims already hesitant to trust the new administration.” Yeah, well, we’re VERY hesitant about trusting them, so the door swings both ways.
When the FBI unleashes some seriously terrifying information about Muslim America, we have to pay attention. Ignoring it is far, far too dangerous.
It’s long past time to correctly identify our attackers and target them. It’s really that simple and thankfully, we now have a commander-in-chief who isn’t only willing to do that, but is also determined to protect this country.
