Harry Potter’s got nothing on this American business wizard!
No two ways about it: the outgoing President has got to be seething about Trump’s almost preternatural ability to make the Obama years look like a soup kitchen line stretching from Michelle’s Victory Garden all the way down Pennsylvania Avenue to a horizon as far as the eye can see.
Trump is still not officially taking the reins of power for another day, but continues to squirt lemon juice into the eyes of the Obama Administration by racking up the job victories with his magical employment wand.
You know the wand, don’t you? The one that Obama claimed didn’t exist.
Not only does the wand exist, but Donald Trump is also making sure that every American is aware that he is on the job 24/7, performing magic in order to Make America Great Again! The fantastic jobs/economy announcements just never seem to stop…
The numbers thus far are STAGGERING:
“In the weeks after his election on November 8, a series of large corporations announced major initiatives to expand in the U.S. but, since then, the number has only grown.
By the middle of December, several companies had announced new jobs and expansion plans for the U.S., including Carrier Air Conditioner Manufacturing (1,000 Jobs), SoftBank Telecommunications (50,000 Jobs), U.S. Steel (10,000 Jobs), and IBM (25,000 Jobs). In addition, representatives of America’s small businesses noted that Trump’s election filled them with hope for a resurgence in startups and a new expansion phase for their constituents.”
Not only have these companies promised new jobs, it cannot be over-emphasized that there are other intangibles that are not being considered. The fact that both Lockheed-Martin and Boeing have re-established their commitments to deal fairly with the US Government over aircraft contracts for the F-35 and Air Force One, saving billions for the American taxpayer.
Throw into that the two multimillionaires from both Japan and China who have committed to jobs in the US. Let’s not forget Alibaba’s push as well to create a new Middle Eastern/Far East market for the US Midwest small businesses. Then there’s the deal that Tesla has made promises on as well.
Additionally, the following companies have joined in the chorus of players in a Trump-run America:
Ford: 700 Jobs to start
SAP SE: 400 Jobs
Amazon.com: 100K Jobs
Lockheed-Martin: 1.8K Jobs
GM: 1.5K Jobs & $1B Investment
Bayer AG: $8B Investment
Walmart: 10K Retail Jobs, 24K Construction Jobs
LKQ: 150 Jobs & New HQ in Tennessee
Perhaps we should feel a little sorry for the “Man Who Would Be King” Obama and his unfortunate luck in being the president to PRECEDE Donaldus Maximus.
He happened into the presidency a mere 143 days after getting a real job in the Senate. Since then, the ocean levels have not receded, it has not stopped snowing, the wolves are still eating the sheep, and Wall Street still owes him a big sloppy wet kiss for the bail-out!
When America recovers from the current sickness called Liberalism and begins a new era of prosperity under Trump (and Obama is pan-handling on the streets of Washington the idea that he was responsible for all of it!) we can finally breathe a sigh of relief knowing that, once again, Right was Right.
