When you consider the power that the president has, it’s remarkable that we so often know so little about them.
I mean, we’re only now finding out about Obama’s awful behavior when in office, and we probably still don’t know half of it. Mystery shrouds our leaders, for some reason.
Perhaps that is by design, or perhaps just laziness on the part of the electorate.
After all, if the candidate is a Democrat of Republican, that’s enough for America, right?
Well, hardly. There are plenty in public office who are clearly unfit for the job. Either that, or they simply use their party labels to get elected.
Thing is, party labels just aren’t very accurate anymore. For example, putting Rand Paul and that attention-whoring, slowly-going-senile John McCain in the same political party seems silly.
Then, some candidates employ subterfuge, holding positions at variance with their party while remaining members to establish a base of support.
Thus, we aren’t surprised to learn that Barack Obama held views that even his fellow Democrats might find offensive. Enter an Obama expert who studied Obama for eight years.
Via Yes I’m Right:
David Garrow is, “a Pulitzer Prize-winning historian who spent more than eight years toiling away at what will be the most comprehensive biography ever published on Obama’s life when it comes out on May 9th, 2017.”
In researching the life of Mr. Obama, he carried out 1,000 interviews. This looks to be a very comprehensive volume indeed.
This is a man who is clearly not a conservative, and his Pulitzer Prize was won for “his biography Martin Luther King, Jr.”
Garrow finds it strange that Americans knew so little of the man they elected to the presidency. In fact, he believes that if all of this information had been known, Obama would have never been elected.
STORY CONTINUES BELOW…
Here’s part of an unpublished manuscript written by Obama and a friend as they were preparing to graduate from law school and provided by The Daily Beast:
“Racism against African Americans continues to exist throughout American society, an admittedly racist culture, Obama and Fischer wrote, according to Garrow.
“Precisely because America is a racist society we cannot realistically expect white America to make special concessions toward blacks over the long haul.
“The greatest testimony to the force of racist ideology in American culture is that it infects not only the mind of whites, but the minds of blacks as well.”
Republicans failed to research this candidate and his radical views on racism. This is a big reason why he ended up in the Oval Office.
Clearly Obama was an incredibly divisive force on racial issues, and now you know why. His past speaks volumes; he was so consumed with race, he obviously saw everything in hues of color.
Not coincidentally, this has been every liberal’s primary failing as well. It’s long past time the country refocuses on things that actually MATTER.
