Man, this guy just keeps WINNING.
President Donald Trump is a businessman. As such, the American economy is set to explode; we recently learned of a colossal $450 BILLION boost courtesy of Japanese corporation SoftBank (a move that will also result in 700,000 more jobs).
It’s the latest in a long string of business-related victories for our new commander-in-chief.
There was also another million U.S. jobs thanks to Trump’s deal with Alibaba, and of course, the well-documented investments in this country from Ford, Toyota, Tesla and many others.
We’re coming off eight years of a massive downward spiral, due to a community organizer who decided he could play at president, all the while drilling our economy and our productivity into the ground.
See, Trump is about “Making America Great Again.” And when he sees a bad deal, one that will cost taxpayers unnecessary millions, he makes a move.
Remember when our president heard about the obscene cost of the new F-35 program and said, “no, I’m going to look for a better deal?”
Well, here are the results, via Fox News:
“The Trump administration announced Friday that the Pentagon has reached a tentative deal with Lockheed Martin for the purchase of 90 F-35 jets at the lowest price in the program’s history – saving the government millions, officials said.”
This is nearly a $9 billion agreement but it’s a good deal lower than what it would’ve been. And in a statement, Lockheed martin praised Trump’s involvement in the lowering of that price:
Lockheed Martin, in a statement, acknowledged Trump’s involvement spurred them to drive down the cost.
“President Trump’s personal involvement in the F-35 program accelerated the negotiations and sharpened our focus on driving down the price. The agreement was reached in a matter of weeks and represents significant savings over previous contracts. This is a good deal for the American taxpayer, our country, our company and our suppliers.”
This means that for the first time ever, the cost per jet for the F-35A will be below $100 million ($95 million, to be precise), which is a 7.3 percent drop from the previous order.
Overall, officials are saying this deal saves the government $728 million, which is certainly nothing to sneeze at. White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer rightfully called it “another big win that the president has delivered on for U.S. taxpayers.”
And what did Obama do for the taxpayers?
I mean, beside basically steal everything from hard-working middle-class Americans to give to those who choose to be leeches?
Did you know the Defense Department said this F-35 program supports over 1,300 suppliers in 45 states, an operation that ultimately employes over 146,000 workers? More money, more jobs, more PRIDE.
Understand how this works yet, liberals? Or would you rather be SUPER productive and keep screaming at a wall for four years?
Morons. Here’s what progress ACTUALLY looks like.
