Ramadan is supposed to be about peace.
Or so the religion of Islam tells us.
But you know there’s a problem when a media outlet puts together a list of violent Jihadist attacks that happened around Ramadan…and the numbers are so shocking, we forget the word “peace.”
We’ve seen far too many examples of why Sharia Law is one of the most backward, barbaric, oppressive systems on earth.
And the world keeps learning this very harsh lesson at the hands of absolute maniacs.
But as we’re just reporting the scorekeepers’ tallies, we’ll let the numbers tell the story and you draw conclusions as you wish.
What Breitbart has done is create a running tally of worldwide Jihadist attacks that are occurring during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
“The estimated 950 deaths and 1,021 injuries from the estimated 70 attacks that have taken place across about 20 countries during the first 13 days (as of June 8) of this year’s holy Muslim month of Ramadan have already marked the bloodiest Ramadan in recent years.
In just one day (June 08), the death toll increased by 84 and injuries by 42.
Jihadists believe martyrdom is doubly rewarded in paradise during Ramadan. Jihadist groups encourage martyrdom among their sympathizers and followers, promoting the belief that they will be doubly rewarded if they fatally castigate infidels during Ramadan.
The holy month this year is on track to surpass the deadliest and bloodiest Ramadan in the modern record: Ramadan 2016.“
It’s important to note that this does not include all deaths in which Islam is a part, such as wars in places like Syria.
“Breitbart News’ count, gleaned from the Religion of Peace website in coordination with news reports, excludes the number of casualties directly linked to battles between U.S.-led coalition troops and jihadists groups, as well as Iranian- and Russian-backed troops loyal to dictator Bashar al-Assad.”
Breitbart’s site contains a list of all the Ramadan terror attacks that is much too lengthy to reproduce here (click the link below or above to see the full list).
But the point has been made. And it’s a point President Donald Trump understands very well.
What some of our politicians refer to as the “Religion of Peace” frequently behaves like anything but, and the apprehensions non-Muslims hold are very understandable.
