I remember when John Goodman had a full-time television gig that was gold. It was the Roseanne show.
Like the family shows before it, Roseanne enjoyed a loyal fan base and a rabid Leftist following to boot.
Because of her irreverence, the Liberals made her into a superstar virtually overnight. She did television, movies, documentaries.
She even insulted an entire country with her now-infamous rendition of the National Anthem.
That was then, this is now. Kathy Griffin’s asinine rush toward oblivion with the Liberal daydream-come-true of a beheaded Trump has prompted a response from the comedienne of yesteryear.
And once again, Griffin is finding no support, nor are the liberals who have attacked 11-year-old Barron Trump in the midst of this insanity.
“Roseanne, it should be needless to point out, has idiosyncratic socialist views and is even partial to conspiracy theories.
Her running mate in 2012, as the presidential nominee for the Peace and Freedom Party, was anti-war protester Cindy Sheehan.
Nonetheless, Roseanne was a Trump supporter during the 2016 presidential race and no fan of Hillary Clinton.
‘I think we would be so lucky if Trump won,’ she said in a Reason interview. ‘Because then it wouldn’t be Hillary.’”
Now, however, after liberals attacked Barron Trump for being “stupid” about responding to Griffin’s prank with horror, Roseanne has issued a comment that just about every parent will love:
“’[T]wo of my grandsons are Barron Trump’s age. I would slap the f**k out of any b*tch or any prick who upset them-trust me on that.’
Looks like Roseanne Barr is Team Parents.”
This reminds us of when one of Bill Clinton’s many victims, Monica Lewinsky, sprang to Barron’s defense earlier this year. And it’s great to see.
I know Griffin insists she’s going to continue bashing the president, because he “messed with the wrong redhead,” but the self-inflicted career-ender stunt is even worse when fellow shock-comedians are calling you an idiot.
That should be a clue, Kathy.
