Rush Limbaugh has long been the most powerful conservative voice in the nation.
With millions of listeners tuning in each day, it’s hard to say that anyone has done more to expose the masses to conservatism than he has over the years.
Limbaugh is always thoughtful in his analysis, yet he manages to explain it in a very digestible manner. He calls it how he sees it and far more often than not, he’s right.
Which is precisely why his recent statements are so shocking.
With all the insanity surrounding Trump and the Left’s full-blown war against conservatism in full swing, there’s a certain ominousness hanging over the nation.
The violence and radicalism of the Left is starting to give rise to similar inclinations to some on the Right, as liberals have increasingly boxed conservatives into a corner using their incredible power over the media, academia, and the State.
To this fact, Limbaugh has some prophetic words.
As reported at Breitbart, during his nationally syndicated radio program on Friday, Limbaugh said given the state of affairs in the country, particularly in the wake of last week’s events in Charlottesville, VA, it could be said the country was on the cusp of a second civil war.
Limbaugh insisted much of the angst was being driven by forces from the outside wanting to see the United States cease being a “super powerful nation.”
“America is under attack from within. Our culture, our history, our founding are under the most direct assault I have seen in my life. And I’m sure it’s the same with you. We haven’t seen anything like this.
You might even get away with saying that we are on the cusp of a second civil war. Some of you might say that we are already into it, that it has already begun.
However you characterize it, though, we are under attack from within. And it’s being bought and paid for by people from outside America, in addition to inside…
None of this that is happening on the left is random. None of the riots, none of the protests. They are not the result of the left being offended by individual acts.
Antifa didn’t show up in Charlottesville because they found out something was going to happen that offended them.
They showed up in Charlottesville to create mayhem and cause hell. They showed up in Ferguson, Missouri, to do the same thing…
If enough Americans can be persuaded of all of that — that America is inherently racist, that America is and has been a lie — then it’s over.
That is the objective, and we are in the midst of it. Sometimes you’re so close to the forest you don’t see the trees. That’s what we are in the midst of here:
An ongoing effort to erase America by discrediting the entire premise of our culture, our history, our founding.
The objective is to create in as many American minds as possible that America as founded is not worth defending. Serious times.“
Limbaugh is spot on with his analysis.
It wasn’t fifteen years ago and Democrats were denouncing illegal immigration and not so supportive of gay marriage.
STORY CONTINUES BELOW…
Now, they’re trying to give illegals the right to vote and calling us deplorable bigots for not wanting a kid’s bits and pieces lopped off because he picked up a Barbie one day.
All these paid protesters and radical groups like Antifa and BLM are just that, paid groups, puppets for the likes of George Soros, who has openly admitted that he and his foundations fund movements like these across the globe.
All in the name of leftism and to subvert nations from within, making them more amenable to their ideology.
The civil war Limbaugh mentions is already underway, although right now it’s still a cold one.
Conservatives have tolerated the Left’s attacks and insanity for so long, yet it’s still a question whether they’ll ever rise up and turn the tide, or continue letting leftists trample all over them and the nation.
Peaceful reconciliation and/or separation is possible but the longer conservatives wait to rise up and say enough is enough, the less viable that option becomes.
