Singer Refuses To Display American Flag At Her Concerts – Then Her Own Fans Light Her Up

When will celebrities and athletes understand that we lowly citizens don’t like it when they trash the United States?

Time and again, these clowns take to vapid magazines, video interviews, or their Twitter pages to talk down to us as if their fame somehow gives them credibility to speak on political issues.

They’re hardly pundits or ambassadors. Most of them seem to behave like low-IQ hyenas, anyway.

And yet, they persist in their inanity. It’s beyond annoying; but entirely expected; after all, Conservatives are painfully aware that the folks in the entertainment industry hate us.

It’s ridiculously obvious, right? But recent years have seen the elites – who are better than everyone else – drop all pretenses and start openly bashing us, something we should no longer tolerate.

The latest celeb to publicly commit seppuku is the singer Lana del Rey, who is the most manufactured, artificial embodiment of a pop star that exists today.

It’s as if she was created in a lab by her producers and managers to be the most stereotypical female “artist” imaginable. Translation? Zero discernible talent.

As reported at the Conservative Tribune, the Grammy-nominated (oh please) recording artist has historically displayed the American flag on stage during her concerts, but she’s had a change of heart.

Why? She’s now saying that with Trump’s in office, she no longer feels safe.

In an interview with Pitchfork, the singer said she will not use American flag visuals on tour because it’s “inappropriate” under Trump.

The singer said she feels “uncomfortable or embarrassed” displaying the American flag abroad because of the way Trump is viewed across the world.

It’s certainly uncomfortable,” Del Rey said.

I definitely changed my visuals on my tour videos. I’m not going to have the American flag waving while I’m singing ‘Born to Die.’

It’s not going to happen. I’d rather have static.”

If I had a dollar for every celebrity that’s said something along the lines of “I’m disappointed in my country,” they’d be doing interviews of me.

The truth is, if you’re a Trump supporter or conservative, you shouldn’t be listening to trash like Lana Del Rey anyway, so there’s really nothing to be upset about.

Let these self-indulgent, self-important “artists” say their piece and just protest them with your wallets. Don’t see their films, buy their books, or listen to their music.

At the same time, support those who remain neutral or espouse views you agree with. It’s really that simple. Or, just do what these people did:
