If Trump Signs 1 Incredible Bill, America’s Immigration Problem Disappears Overnight

There’s been a lot of talk about illegal immigration since Trump arrived on the political scene.

What was once a taboo topic has now become a part of everyday discourse, although it remains highly controversial.

Thanks to Trump, the so-called Overton Window has shifted, giving conservatives the rare opportunity to drag some of our nation’s policies back to the Right.

Illegal immigration is a huge problem that must be solved, but another that needs to be tackled is the legal one as well.

Millions of illegals are in our country, affecting jobs, wages, and government expenditures in many ways. But there are also too many legal immigrants admitted each year, and it appears Trump is poised to make this issue a target by summer’s end.

As reported at Politico, President Donald Trump and his aides are quietly working with two conservative senators to dramatically scale back legal immigration–which would fulfill one of his major campaign promises.

Later this summer, conservative Reps. Tom Cotton (R-AR) and David Perdue (R-GA) will introduce a bill that will slash the number of legal immigrants entering the country each year in half.

The current number is a massive million, but this policy would drag it down to 500,000. Rumor is that Trump will get behind the bill.

Stephen Miller, a senior White House official and immigration hawk, has been working with the senators on the bill. Steven Bannon, Trump’s top strategist, is also firmly behind reducing immigration numbers.

Unfortunately, the battle to reduce illegal immigration has seen a lot of lip service from both parties, but not a lot of action.

So reducing legal immigration will be incredibly difficult, as support from the cowardly GOP cannot even be guaranteed, despite the fact that the people voting for these wusses want them to act.

How the senators plan on soliciting support for their bill is unknown at the moment, considering the current big fight is over the “repeal” of Obamacare, tax reform, the debt ceiling, and an infrastructure plan in the queue.

Republicans have promised to repeal Obamacare for the better part of a decade, and despite controlling the government right now, they can’t even seem to get it done.

So things aren’t looking particularly good on the immigration front, especially legal.

STORY CONTINUES BELOW…

Sen. Cotton knows that being more deliberate about who we let into our country will raise working-class wages, which is why an overwhelming majority of Americans support it.

He and Sen. Perdue are working with President Trump to fix our immigration system so that instead of undercutting American workers, it will support them and their livelihoods,” said Caroline Rabbitt, a Cotton spokeswoman.

The senators’ plan is a solid one, but it’s going to take quite the push to get the bill passed. The media will undoubtedly ramp up the their propaganda and fear-mongering, labelling supporters as racists and bigots.

Then they’ll spout their leftists drivel, saying things like “immigrants are the real Americans!” and claiming that not letting everyone come to the US “goes against our values.”

It’s all lies and out of context nonsense. Americans must be protected from low-skilled, wage killing immigrants, and not only that, our values and culture should remain supreme above all others.

This is America, but it won’t be for long if these open borders aren’t dealt with soon.
