“Regulations, regulations and more regulations!”
This war cry of the Federal Government is the equivalent of the IRS’s call of “Taxes, taxes and more taxes!”
Barack Obama couldn’t stop spending the people’s money, which is why our national debt is beyond shocking.
Now, while the demand for more taxes makes total sense in that lawmakers are attempting to perpetuate their own upper-echelon paychecks, pensions, healthcare and perquisites, the call for more regulations only benefits those who wish to control and micromanage every aspect of American life and American private sector business.
It is all tied in together, these regulations and taxes, in how they are strangling personal growth and the nation’s growth, year after year.
The regulations issue, in particular, has grown so enormous as to be a horrible obese blight on the horizon that, before Trump, seemed to have no end.
Thankfully, however, Trump is already on the anti-regulation warpath, saving the country a whopping $200 billion in his first 24 hours. And now, more good news.
“‘The regulatory burden is for the people behind me and for small companies. It’s an impossible situation and we’re going to solve it very quickly.’ — Donald Trump
The White House estimated that in 2015, federal regulations cost the American economy more than $2 trillion.
‘Today this executive order directs each agency to establish a regulatory reform task force. It will ensure that every agency has a team of dedicated people to research all regulations that are unnecessary, burdensome and harmful to the economy, and harmful to the creation of jobs and business,’ Trump said, noting that agencies will have 90 days to come up with regulations that should be scrapped or simplified.
Trump has said that while protections for worker safety and the environment are necessary, not all regulations meet those standards.
‘Every regulation should have to pass a simple test: Does it make life better or safer for American workers or consumers. If the answer is no, we will be getting rid of it and getting rid of it quickly,’ Trump said.
Trump said ‘excessive regulation is killing jobs’ and ‘driving companies out of our country like never before.’
‘We will stop punishing companies for doing business in the United States. It’s going to be absolutely just the opposite. They’re going to be incentivized to doing business in the United States,’ Trump said.”
This action by Trump is the culmination of too many Americans for far too long NOT BEING LISTENED TO BY THEIR ELECTED OFFICIALS.
This is the result of a constituency being IGNORED AND LEFT TO WONDER WHEN EXCESSIVE REGULATION WOULD FINALLY BE ABATED.
President Trump has declared war on federal regulations that drain our coffers and he continues to win that war.
When the normal, everyday American can no longer survive on the 28-hour per week paycheck from their two or three jobs, they demand change. Donald Trump is that change and, now, with God’s blessings, we’ll take our country back from those who thought they were smarter than their constituents.
