Don’t want to go? Fine. Others are gonna benefit.
Liberals have resembled members of the cast of “Glee” lately as they rub their hands together in celebration of the fact that Trump seems to be receiving more snubs by performers for his inaugural party than acceptances. The tolerant, loving and caring Left seems almost ebullient to mock Team Trump for not having the star-power of Hillary (after all, she drew Jay Z, Beyoncé, Madonna, Lady Gaga, and Bruce Springsteen, among others).
What the vicious taunts are missing, however, is the potential boon to those who DO accept Trump’s invitation.
As everyone is likely aware, Jackie Evancho, runner-up on “America’s Got Talent” several years ago, agreed to sing the National Anthem at the Inauguration ceremony on January 20th.
Independent Journal Review goes on:
The 16-year-old has been a prolific singer and entertainer ever since she was a child. At age 10, she appeared on “America’s Got Talent,” but since 2009, she’s released six studio albums, three live albums, one EP, and 31 singles, according to Cosmopolitan.
Now, she’s getting another big boost thanks to her commitment to sing at Trump’s inauguration.
In fact, Jackie’s latest album, “Someday at Christmas,” is #1 on Billboard’s Classical Albums chart. TMZ reports that her weekly album sales quadrupled in digital sales and retailers had to restock twice to keep up with demands.
Two things about this gleefulness from the Left:
1) While money is typically a driving factor with celebrities, they are always pretending that “dollars don’t matter”, completely unaware that the microscope is on them day and night.
They act as if they’re plying “their craft” despite capitalist systems forcing them to take pay for their work. This is all a crock. They are in it for the money and any one of them who says differently, is lying.
So, a loss of money to this little girl (who is ONLY singing the National Anthem) is no doubt eating at their egos.
2) Star-power only counts when it works. Last time I checked, Hillary with all her *STARS* lost the election. In fact, it’s her third loss in 9 years (if you include the recount and the “faithless electors).
If I didn’t know any better, I’d say these celebrities may just experience a little bit of a downturn in profit because of their association with a known (but unindicted) criminal.
