Donald Trump has been taking hit after hit, jab after jab, from those on the far left of the political scale who say he’s simply riding a wave of anger into office to dismantle all-things-Obama.
But the fact is: The electorate rejected Obama’s policies and programs, from Obamacare to immigration. And Trump has simply vowed to overhaul the unconstitutional and fix the fixable.
But to the far left, that message means dismantle.
Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace brought up the matter during a recent interview with Trump when he asked if it was “fair” to say he was going to take “a wrecking ball to the Obama legacy,” Breitbart reported.
And Trump’s response?
No, Chris. That’s not the point.
“I don’t want to do that at all,” Trump said. “I just want what’s right. On the EPA, you can’t get a thing approved. People are waiting in line for 15 years before they get rejected.
And it’s that anti-building, anti-growth climate that’s proven a big turn-off to the development sector, Trump added. That’s why people don’t want to invest in this country.”
Trump said he envisioned an administration where job growth was a priority, and if that meant undoing some of Obama’s overly regulatory programs, then so be it.
“We’re going to clean it up,” Trump said. “We’re going to speed it up. By the way, if somebody is not doing the right thing, we’re not going to approve.”
This is the sort of common sense this country has been missing for many, many years. Trump is just the president to bring it back!
