It’s hard to call it a “tradition” if it hasn’t exactly happened with every presidency.
In fact, it’s not even close. Clinton and Obama did it, as well as a few other presidents, but Donald Trump is hardly the first President of the United States to not host a Ramadan dinner at the White House.
Of course, liberals are flipping out, as they flip out every time someone says “Merry Christmas.”
And let’s not forget that Trump sent out a perfectly nice message to Muslims for Eid al-Fitr, the Muslim holiday that marks the end of Ramadan.
That wasn’t good enough for the Leftists, though, and some are calling this a political stunt and/or a slight on the Islamic religion.
What’s your take?
Is this a “statement” or is Trump simply not holding a Ramadan dinner because he isn’t Muslim and neither is the American nation?
And by the way, is either of the latter facts a BAD thing? Apparently, according to psychotic Democrats…both are bad things.
