Didn’t the U.S. Intelligence community just release their findings concerning the oft-debated “Russian hacks?” Didn’t they conclude, apparently beyond any shadow of a doubt, that Russia did in fact launch an “influence campaign” at this country to affect the tide of the recent election?
We should assume the report is accurate because after all, our tax dollars paid for it. We should assume it’s accurate because after all, the feds are just supposed to be doing their jobs. Political stunts aren’t their gig.
Yeah, well, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange says otherwise.
As per a new Fox News report, Assange fired back at the intelligence community and it’s pretty epic. Speaking during an audio-only Periscope Q&A session, the controversial leaker of information swore the source of his information “was not a member ‘of any government’ or ‘state parties’ and did not ‘come from the Russian government.'”
In fact, he takes it a step further and absolutely annihilates the entire report:
“It was not an intelligence report. It does not have the structure of an intelligence report. It does not have the structure of a Presidential Daily Brief. It was frankly quite embarrassing.
It was clearly designed for political effect.”
This intelligence report was prepared at the behest of outgoing president Barack Obama, and flat-out blamed the Russians for causing the Democrats to lose the previous presidential election (despite the fact that just about anyone with a brain knows Hillary Clinton was just a terrible candidate).
Maybe we really can’t trust all the official documentation that comes out of Washington. Maybe we should be looking to inside sources like Assange to get the truth…because the Democrats sure as hell won’t reveal it themselves.
To battle corruption, one must go behind enemy lines…
